Worth itVert De Terre on the upper kitchen cabinets sets off the stained wood below and creates the kind of soothing, established mood I was looking for. I couldn't resist using Dead Flat on the outside of the cabinets but protected the knobs with a barely there water-based urethane and painted the inside shelves in Vert De Terre eggshell for durability. I wouldn't have tackled a job this big and tedious were it not for Farrow & Ball Dead Flat being such a pleasure to work with, and knowing the end result would be a room with character not just colour. I don't know how Farrow & Ball manages to get atmosphere into a can of paint but I am very glad they do.

Beautiful natural greenRecently redecorated our lounge & dining room in vert de terre, looks suburb a true green, we overpainted skimmed milk white which was a special edition colour but it wasn’t quite right in the rooms. Have to confess to being a F&B fan, with blue grey in the kitchen, blackened in the bathrooms & pointing fingers n the bedrooms. Looking forward to trying the new dead flat finish which is what I need with two labs

Good & BadI like F&B paint. It is comparatively easy to use and goes a long way. But, it's too expensive and there is surely a market for pots between 0.75 and 2.5 litre.
Back in 2010, we moved to an entirely water based range of finishes, becoming the first in the industry to do so. These low-odour, low-VOC finishes are easy to clean without harmful solvents. They are also certified child- and baby-safe in accordance with Safety of Toys Part 3: Migration of certain elements (EN 71-3:2019+A1:2021).
Exclusions: Casein Distemper, Wood Primer & Undercoat and Metal Primer & Undercoat.

Every one of our paint colours is available in a range of durable interior and exterior paint finishes, each rigorously tested to ensure an exceptional depth of colour and long-lasting finish. For the very best results, we always recommend using a Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat - see above for the correct tone for this colour.
