Wimborne White

No.239

Just off white

This just off white is named after the market town of Wimborne in Dorset and home to Farrow & Ball. Only a shade away from a pure white, the addition of the smallest amount of warm yellow pigment creates a very versatile shade which is just a little softer than All White.

Recommended Primer & Undercoat: White & Light Tones

Complementary white: All White

Wimborne White is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 277.

Back in 2010, we moved our entire range to an eco-friendly water base that’s low odour, low VOC and child-safe, becoming the first in the industry to do so. Easy to clean without harmful solvents, in tins that can be recycled again and again, our paints help to reduce the environmental impact of redecorating your home.

QUALITY FINISHES

Every one of our paint colours is available in a range of durable interior and exterior paint finishes, each rigorously tested to ensure an exceptional depth of colour and long-lasting finish. For the very best results, we always recommend using a Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat – see above for the correct tone for this colour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous warm white After using darker colours for so many houses I finally moved to the light side. Wimborne looks fantastic in my east facing living room and warms up the room later in the day. Antique furniture and green plants really pop against it. As usual a pleasure to paint with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great success I bought Wimbourne White as the recommended white to go with Stiffkey Blue, which was the feature colour in the room. I like F&B, not just because of the colour and quality finish but also because it's easy to apply and uses less toxic ingredients than it's competitors. The coverage is accurate, which is reassuring and the finished colour looks good in all lights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice paint Refurbishing some very old MDF kitchen cabinet doors. Very nice finish when applied with high density foam roller and sash brush for the fiddly bits.
