Teresa's Green

A fresh aqua tone

This mid aqua is named after a much valued, early member of our creative team - and yes, the pun is intended! Teresa's Green owes its freshness to a rich blue base and its warmth to soft green undertones. In the middle of our range of aquas, Teresa’s Green has a calming and therapeutic effect, but still feels cheerful when combined with delicate shades like White Tie.

Recommended Primer & Undercoat: Mid Tones

Complementary white: Slipper Satin

Teresa's Green is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 135.

Back in 2010, we moved our entire range to an eco-friendly water base that’s low odour, low VOC and child-safe, becoming the first in the industry to do so. Easy to clean without harmful solvents, in tins that can be recycled again and again, our paints help to reduce the environmental impact of redecorating your home.

Every one of our paint colours is available in a range of durable interior and exterior paint finishes, each rigorously tested to ensure an exceptional depth of colour and long-lasting finish. For the very best results, we always recommend using a Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat – see above for the correct tone for this colour.

All Farrow & Ball finishes except Limewash contain isothiazolinones, which may produce an allergic reaction. Farrow & Ball Limewash contains calcium hydroxide which can cause severe damage in contact with skin or eyes. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the colour I bought five sample pots of F&B paint online and they arrived within 2 days. I painted large squares of lining paper. It went on beautifully and almost gliding on to the paper, much easier to use than other paints with extremely good coverage. I've moved my samples around the room at different times of the day. Decided to paint my bedroom with Teresa's Green, it's a beautiful duck egg blue. I've used F&B in my lounge, dining room and kitchen, love the colours, rich pigments and its a joy to work with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So fresh and subtle We bought this for the bedroom to contrast/showcase a kind of teal-y painting - we also got the Green Blue, having learnt from experience just how subtle Farrow & Ball colours are and although these two looked quite similar on the chart, the Green Blue was a lot more intense and would have dominated the room. It is so fresh, and a dream to apply, with a soft, cloudy kind of finish (not technical, I’m sure, but it will have to do!). I love the F&B range and will always choose these lovely, subtle, sophisticated colours in future; maybe more expensive, but so worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely calm colour After 6 matchpots, I chose this green for our bedroom, now nearly halfway to finishing and really pleased with the result-we chose estate emulsion and the finish is lovely, can’t wait for it to be all done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Kitchen Fed up with Covid, so I thought I would paint the kitchen. It was a cream colour, so yes very boring. I bought F & B's Teresa's Green expecting same kitchen, different colour. The overall effect however is amazing. It now looks like I have a new kitchen. Also, the lovely Lady I ordered the paint with over the phone was charming and so helpful, thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely soft colour I bought this colour for my children’s bedroom. I wanted something soft but still giving the room some character. Very pleased with it. I bought in modern emulsion and it went on beautifully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful duck egg, very tough too. Don’t panic when you open the tin! It goes on very pale but dries a lovely delicate duck egg. Painted our son’s room this colour, it’s hard-wearing and age proof. It’ll still be lovely when he’s a teenager. In bright light it’s a cheerful aqua green, and then a definite duck egg blue in duller light. I love it, and I’m converted to F&B paint. It’s by far better value than Dulux, because you need less of it and it goes on so beautifully, you save time later. No roller marks, no brush strokes. Used the mid tones undercoat on fresh plaster and one coat of this has done the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great paint I brought this paint a month ago and the quality of the paint is superb. Great finish. I used this to repaint the kitchen cupboards. Paint went on really well.
