A fresh cream
This creamy tone is only deemed as ‘new’ because it feels much fresher than more traditional whites such as Lime White. It will warm up any room with its soft illumination, working particularly well in a country kitchen setting alongside our other Yellow Based Neutrals. New White can look milkier in colour if contrasted with White Tie or cleaner when paired with India Yellow.

A soft, rich white
What a luscious colour this is -- like the softest vanilla buttercream. I was looking for a rich white that captured the look and feel of ornate Georgian plasterwork and this is it. The estate emulsion finish covers a multitude of wall and ceiling sins. It’s not chalky, nor does it strike me as a “country” colour (whatever that is!) This is a warm and full-bodied white, not in the least like Magnolia (in response to another review). Super easy to apply and to wash up after. I used it in a south-facing bedroom where it glows in certain lights, complementing other walls painted in the sophisticated grey-green Vert de Terre.

I love this colour
I put this on my wooden floor in the hall and through my living room. I live in a small cottage and I wanted to give the appearance that the room was bigger and this worked a treat. It's the colour of good quality vanilla ice cream, if that helps any. I like it up against the white of my skirtings and doors,it marries in well with brighter whites.
I only put down two coats and it was only on the second coat that I saw the lightness coming through. As the floor was dark wood I also put two coats of primer/undercoat. I really like this colour it's rustic with a hint of sophistication.
