An inviting deep green
More intensely green than Green Smoke, yet deeper and more aged than Calke Green, this inviting mid tone has a lived-in feel that works wonderfully in traditional spaces. Its name is inspired by our home in Dorset, just outside the market town of Wimborne Minster.

Gorgeous Green!
I’m renovating a home in Chicago that was built in 1890. The style at the time was unique, almost like a bridge from Late Victorian to the Arts and Crafts movement. What I found interesting is that from the Late Victorian era through around 1950, shades like Minster Green showed up in historic paint palettes. So I think this green could work in so many older homes but at the same time would be beautiful if you’re going for a modern look too. I love that the shade is vibrant but has just a touch of gray that gives it a calming vibe. I don’t have the best pics, but here it is as a quick swatch in my east facing room with a few lamps on. I really love the way this color glows and looks so pretty as a backdrop for my plants.

F&B's website description is SPOT ON!
I love the greens and decided to try Minster Green based on the website description, which rang all my chimes. The color is EXACTLY as described: rich, traditional. It really is a breathtaking shade. I only buy F&B now. Went back back to Benjamin Moore one time recently because I only needed a small amount for a small wall area. OMG, am I spoiled now. There is no comparison whatsoever in terms of sheer beauty of the finish depth of color. Wish F&B sold the wall finishes in quarts!
