Lancaster Yellow

No.249

A fresh pale yellow

This pale yellow is named in honour of Nancy Lancaster, the influential interior designer who helped to popularise yellow rooms in the 20th century. The shade itself is inspired by silk hangings in the designer’s Northamptonshire home, Kelmarsh Hall.

Lancaster Yellow is part of our archive collection so sample pots are not available, and orders cannot be returned.

ECO-FRIENDLY AND CHILD-SAFE

Back in 2010, we moved our entire range to an eco-friendly water base that’s low odour, low VOC and child-safe, becoming the first in the industry to do so. Easy to clean without harmful solvents, in tins that can be recycled again and again, our paints help to reduce the environmental impact of redecorating your home.

QUALITY FINISHES

Every one of our paint colours is available in a range of durable interior and exterior paint finishes, each rigorously tested to ensure an exceptional depth of colour and long-lasting finish. For the very best results, we always recommend using a Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat – see above for the correct tone for this colour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best paint on the market! I have been using Farrow and Ball paint for many years. It’s a pleasure to use. Brushes are easy to clean after painting as it’s water based.....good for the planet! Well done to the makers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nursery I bought this paint for our nursery, as we do not know if we are having a girl or boy. The colour, I would not discribe as pale yellow. If fact it is quite vivd, but then it is a nice bright room to start with. Saying that I love the colour and am really pleased with the results, as with all F&B paints used so far.
