Back in 2010, we moved our entire range to an eco-friendly water base that’s low odour, low VOC and child-safe, becoming the first in the industry to do so. Easy to clean without harmful solvents, in tins that can be recycled again and again, our paints help to reduce the environmental impact of redecorating your home.

Every one of our paint colours is available in a range of durable interior and exterior paint finishes, each rigorously tested to ensure an exceptional depth of colour and long-lasting finish. For the very best results, we always recommend using a Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat – see above for the correct tone for this colour.

All Farrow & Ball finishes except Limewash contain isothiazolinones, which may produce an allergic reaction. Farrow & Ball Limewash contains calcium hydroxide which can cause severe damage in contact with skin or eyes. Rated 5 out of 5 by from A rich dark red I used this in eggshell on my son’s freestanding wardrobe. It is the perfect colour for his football theme and has made the wardrobe look glossy and beautiful. It is a great upcycling!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent products and superb delivery experience I ordered 3 colour samples of the Matt emulsion. I was emailed at all stages of the order straight through to an accurate timed delivery! The samples were packaged really well too. The quality of the paint and the accuracy of the colours were excellent. The coverage is really good as well. I would highly recommend buying from Farrow & Ball.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from From homelessness to heavenly My dad was a builder and I spent many a happy hour with him on a building site on Saturdays, leaving Mum to have some peace. I grew up learning skills from tradesmen and knew the folly of skimping when it comes to buying paint. Dad’s expertise was in the restoration of period properties and he would spend hours poring over paint charts and mixing paints to create authentic period colours. One of my greatest pleasures when moving into a new property has always been to buy a random palette of sample pots, often in what I might consider to be unlikely tones. Two years ago, my life almost fell apart after serious illness. I lost my job and was also unable to continue my small business designing my own knitwear and crocheted items which I would sell at artisan markets at the weekend. I lost my home and was eventually offered a beautiful ground floor flat, unloved for years, but with so much potential. The floors were all bare concrete and the walls had dulled to a dirty beige. In the bedroom, a streak of grey greasiness marked the place where someone has rested their head against the wall. Two years on, I am still decorating. I prefer to buy reduced priced products from companies who care about the quality of their paints and Farrow and Ball are still one of my favourites because their paints are guaranteed to pamper even the most poverty-stricken of walls. Their palette of colours is sublime and the quality of the paint is such that I always feel that I am almost massaging the walls. Two coats of paint give me the depth of colour I need, even more importantly, it gives me a finish that lasts. At the moment, I am using Farrow and Ball sample pots, mixed and added to another brand of concrete floor paint to create a faux tile effect on the living room floor, although this particular colour will eventually be used as an accent in my shower room. I have an impossibly tight budget, but I can use my self-imposed, limited ‘pocket money’ to treat my flat to some Farrow and Ball luxury while creating a home with a palette of colours fit for a palace.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning rich colour Chose this colour to paint some metal outdoor garden furniture to add a splash of colour to a corner in garden that was visible from the lounge window. Really pleased with the colour and it went on well to the undercoat. I’m hoping the gloss will look good for years. Really pleased with the results

Rated 5 out of 5 by from what an incredible colour experience! I was indecisive between preference red and brimjal and am so happy with the prefernce red choice - such an amazing depth of color and just dark enough - already got a lot of compliments for the wall from friends and family. Though a bit worried after the first layer of paint being uneven, the second layer just ended up being perfect - covering different undergrounds and colours used before. little dripping and splashing while painting - great clear lines with masking tape. Just watching the wall now fills me with joy
