Pavilion Gray

A cool mid grey

This classic mid grey was originally created for a bespoke pavilion, but is also reminiscent of an elegant 18th century Swedish colour. One of the Architectural Neutrals, the subtle blue undertones of Pavilion Gray add a contemporary touch and sense of spaciousness. Combine with Dimpse, Blackened or Manor House Gray in any combination for a scheme that is perfect for the modern family home.

Recommended Primer & Undercoat: Mid Tones

Complementary white: Blackened

Back in 2010, we moved our entire range to an eco-friendly water base that’s low odour, low VOC and child-safe, becoming the first in the industry to do so. Easy to clean without harmful solvents, in tins that can be recycled again and again, our paints help to reduce the environmental impact of redecorating your home.

Every one of our paint colours is available in a range of durable interior and exterior paint finishes, each rigorously tested to ensure an exceptional depth of colour and long-lasting finish. For the very best results, we always recommend using a Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat – see above for the correct tone for this colour.

All Farrow & Ball finishes except Limewash contain isothiazolinones, which may produce an allergic reaction. Farrow & Ball Limewash contains calcium hydroxide which can cause severe damage in contact with skin or eyes. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Refreshed my IKEA wardrobe doors Having bought some specialist paint to cover my Red IKEA wardrobes which did not adhere I was recommended to use F&B primer and exterior eggshell. I am so glad I did. Two coats of the primer left such a good finish I kept it like that for a few weeks before applying the pavilion grey eggshell. only one coat was needed and it has transformed my room. I have now decided

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable brand Not the cheapest brand but well worth paying extra for a great look. I upcycle old furniture from 1930 pieces to 1970 pine and the finished product is not only beautiful but hard-wearing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scandi grey A calm and fresh grey colour. Changes in different light levels and feels warm, not cold. Works well with painted white floors. Odour free and a pleasure to work with. Painted a tiny study using estate emulsion and really impressed with the results. We thought that all white would make the room look larger, but actually white floor and ceiling, with Pavilion Gray walls, is a huge improvement. Really pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and a great result I used pavilion grey modern eggshell to paint tired looking oak flooring that had turned a bit orange. It was easy to apply - I didn’t bother with primer, just gave it two coats. It has transformed the room for the cost of a pot of paint. Very pleased with it!
