Jitney

No.293

A relaxed brown based neutral

This earthy colour sits somewhere between the more traditional Oxford Stone and greyer Elephant's Breath. Though muted, it is incredibly uplifting and reminds us of lazy days by the sea - hence sharing its name with the bus that whisks New Yorkers out of the hot city to the similarly coloured sandy beaches of the Hamptons.

Recommended Primer & Undercoat: Mid Tones

Complementary white: Dimity

Jitney is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 25.

ECO-FRIENDLY AND CHILD-SAFE

Back in 2010, we moved our entire range to an eco-friendly water base that’s low odour, low VOC and child-safe, becoming the first in the industry to do so. Easy to clean without harmful solvents, in tins that can be recycled again and again, our paints help to reduce the environmental impact of redecorating your home.

QUALITY FINISHES

Every one of our paint colours is available in a range of durable interior and exterior paint finishes, each rigorously tested to ensure an exceptional depth of colour and long-lasting finish. For the very best results, we always recommend using a Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat – see above for the correct tone for this colour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect colour! Bought this paint a month ago! The colour is just perfect for what I was looking for and couldn’t find anywhere else, it’s a griege/putty colour but with a warm tone! After using it for my wall I had some left over so used it to also upcycle a mirror and some picture frames! You do need two coats but it looks amazing after!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rolls on beautifully Ordered 2 samples direct from Farrow and Ball as the DIY shops didn't have anything on the shelf. Speedy delivery and well packaged. I had to order emulsion to get the right colour but ordered the paint in Eggshell and again it came very quickly. I only buy F&B paint now, nothing matches it in quality and finish and it brushes and rolls on wonderfully. Will order direct from now on great service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely colour Wanted to test this colour on the stairway of our very small Victorian cottage. Beautiful colour but would leave the area too dark. Will perhaps go Oxford Stone.
