A cool mid grey
This classic mid grey was originally created for a bespoke pavilion, but is also reminiscent of an elegant 18th century Swedish colour. One of the Architectural Neutrals, the subtle blue undertones of Pavilion Gray add a contemporary touch and sense of spaciousness. Combine with Dimpse, Blackened or Manor House Gray in any combination for a scheme that is perfect for the modern family home.

you get what you pay for is true with this emulsion
I have used this colour previously to cover red coloured walls and expected to do 2 or 3 coats, needed 3 coats. Loved the finished colour so bought the same colour again to emulsion a light beige coloured walls. Needed 2 coats. Even with 2 coats need to ensure that you cover well. Again finished colour is worth it. It is not a dark dove grey but a lovely clean, fresh grey. I used it on bottom half of a large room and used Wimborne white on the top half. Don't let the idea of white put you off, it is not a white but a gorgeous warm colour and they go together so well. Looks expensive and classy. So I am hooked on Farrow & Ball and using it throughtout my home.

Fantastic Finish - But unsuitable for anything
The colour is perfect, the finish is fantastic, dead flat as promised. The coverage is very good and overall the paint is very easy to use. But, and this is unfortunately a big but, you cannot use the dead flat finish on anything you might touch. We painted a sideboard and it looked amazing till you touch it, even with freshly clean and dry hands. Natural hand oils mark this particular finish making it unsuitable for anything I can think of. It doesn't change the fact we love the colour and so may in fact paint the sideboard again but in the estate eggshell finish due to it's harder wearing finish and the fact that Farrow and Ball paint still remains a high quality product.
