Estate Eggshell
Neither too warm nor too cool, this neutral takes its name from the soft tone created when many of our whites are used in deep shade.
A satin, low sheen finish, Estate Eggshell subtly highlights interior wood and metal. Washable and wipeable, it brings understated elegance to doors, skirting boards, radiators and more.
The soft, low sheen satin finish of our Estate Eggshell subtly highlights interior wood and metal. 20% sheen.
Our deeper, richer colours are available in a range of finishes with different sheen levels. Sheen always affects how colour appears: the same shade in gloss can look very different in matt. That’s why we specifically adjust the formula for every finish to make sure the balance is exactly right and you get the colour you were expecting. Our colours and finishes are formulated together, so you simply can’t have one without the other.

100% water based
100% water based
We’re proud to have been the first in the industry to transition to a completely water based range back in 2010. As a result, all of our finishes, including our tough trim and floor paints, are made with a low-odour, low-VOC water base that scores A+ for indoor air quality.
Plus, our water based paint doesn’t discolour over time like solvent based paints can. So your spaces stay beautiful for longer.
Toy safe
Toy safe
This finish is independently tested and certified toy-safe in accordance with Safety of Toys Part 3: Migration of certain elements (EN 71-3:2019+A1:2021). That means you can and a splash of colour to toys, cribs and other surfaces little ones come into contact with. Our paints also have hardly any odour and don’t need any solvents to clean up, so you can breathe easy during application and beyond.

Dead Flat finish is 'Dead Good'I'm planning a big reno project in my hall/stairs/landing area and wanted to test out the new Dead Flat finish. I used Shaded White in my office and it was a dream to paint with - I used mid tones primer underneath. The finish is lovely and this colour is my go-to for a calming, warm neutral. Intend to contrast the staircase with pitch black

Excellent color, Excellent qualitySuch a beautiful and deep white. Using it in an early 1900's as trim. The first time using FB paint...my paint contractor so happy with the quality and ease of use. I'm hooked on this brand. Don't need to look anywhere else.

The perfect warm greigeI was looking for a warm greige for our north-facing bedroom that would work well with our existing grey furniture and give the room a more neutral feel. Shaded White was the perfect choice and goes beautifully with our Green Smoke panelling. As usual, the quality of the paint was outstanding.

Shaded white kitchenRoss in Edinburgh showroom recommended shaded white for our kitchen during our colour consultancy as I was looking for a calm, warm shade without too much yellow tone and without looking too creamy. I also had an old church pew painted in Mouses back I wanted to keep. We paired shaded white cabinets with school house white walls and of black accents. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome!

Beautiful coverage but not the best for coverageA beautiful finish. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is because the coverage isn't as good as I anticipated from a high quality paint.
