Exterior Eggshell
This regal blue is named after the indigo pigment which was often imported in lumps in the 18th century.
Exterior Eggshell brings long-lasting, rich colour to exterior wood and metal. The low sheen finish remains flexible once dry, protecting wood and metal surfaces through changing weather, while preservatives help prevent the growth of algae and fungi. The resin-rich formula resists flaking, peeling, and fading for up to six years.
Recommended Primer & Undercoat:White and Light Tones
The soft, low sheen satin finish of our Exterior Eggshell brings long-lasting colour to outdoor spaces. 20% sheen.
Our deeper, richer colours are available in a range of finishes with different sheen levels. Sheen always affects how colour appears: the same shade in gloss can look very different in matt. That’s why we specifically adjust the formula for every finish to make sure the balance is exactly right and you get the colour you were expecting. Our colours and finishes are formulated together, so you simply can’t have one without the other.

100% water based
100% water based
We’re proud to have been the first in the industry to transition to a completely water based range back in 2010. As a result, all of our finishes, including our tough trim and floor paints, are made with a low-odour, low-VOC water base that scores A+ for indoor air quality.
Plus, our water based paint doesn’t discolour over time like solvent based paints can. So your spaces stay beautiful for longer.
Toy safe
Toy safe

Lovely colour, just the right shadeMy photos show the subtle difference between this blue and a bright white. It applies really well with a brush. My only peeve with this particular tin was how the pigment wasn't mixed to well (see photo) I shook the tin before use, stirred it, yet it still smeared black (all the way through the tin)
A 750ml tin did four of these wardrobe doors, multiple coats.

Perfect paintSince trying Farrow and Ball paint a few years ago I have not bought any other brand. The loading and covering and expertly compiled pallet are unbeatable. Pale powder is a perfect shade of aqua that works well with green blue and pine furniture.

Pale Powder Kitchen DoorI recently painted over one of our pine kitchen doors, then started regretting it - until I found Pale Powder. Love the soft blue against the pinkish walls. It also tones well with a powder blue island in my kitchen (the other cupboards are cream). Painted the Pale Powder door frame, window sills, door frame of another pine kitchen door, and the pantry door in Dimity as I already had some - and I’m really pleased with the result. It’s like a pearl colour against the blue and pink.

Beautiful soft green-blue powder colourI painted my bedroom wardrobes pale powder to compliment the green-blue farrow and ball walls. They bring a dynamic but calming feeling to the room. The room is east facing and the colours come across green and warm.

Beautiful serene color for bedroomI tried maybe nine color samples including behr and Lowe colors. Behr was this awful flat lurid color that looked like a bright hard turquoise but was supposed to be mint. This color pale powder has depth and looks great with my paintings of nature. Only thing I can say is that the light f &b primer I used over the turquoise fiasco was a nightmare to cover with this paint. It took 3-4 coats to cover the light primer whereas covering the pre existing greige was one coat. I do have textured walls .
Back in 2010, we moved to an entirely water based range of finishes, becoming the first in the industry to do so. These low-odor, low-VOC finishes are easy to clean without harmful solvents. They also meet child- and baby-safe requirements in accordance with The Canada Cribs, Cradles and Bassinets Regulations, Canada Toy Regulations (SOR/2011-17) – Section 23 and ASTM F963 – 17 - Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety.
