A delicate white with a hint of grey

This delicate white has a barely there and almost translucent feel to it, and so shares its name with the old Dorset term for a spider’s web. One of our Easy Neutrals, Wevet is clean, understated and incredibly easy to live with. With its hint of grey, this hushed tone can be used as a wall colour for a neutral contemporary space or on ceilings and woodwork when combined with cooler greys.

WATER BASED AND CHILD-SAFE

Back in 2010, we moved to an entirely water based range of finishes, becoming the first in the industry to do so. These low-odor, low-VOC finishes are easy to clean without harmful solvents. They also meet child- and baby-safe requirements in accordance with The Canada Cribs, Cradles and Bassinets Regulations, Canada Toy Regulations (SOR/2011-17) – Section 23 and ASTM F963 – 17 - Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety.


QUALITY FINISHES

Our paint colours are available in a range of durable interior and exterior paint finishes, each rigorously tested to ensure an exceptional depth of colour and long-lasting finish. For the very best results, we always recommend using a Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat – see above for the correct tone for this colour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sample pot perfect, paint tin minimum 5 liters Colour sample are perfect so beautiful but the tin are for a minimum of 5 liters. For me this is a decorative wall hence is too much and considering the environmental problem we face I am not willing to throw in the bin 4liters...shame they don't do smaller pot...ended up buying elsewhere

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect colour to brighten a dar cottage After reading all the reviews and painting patches of a variety of whites and pale neutrals all round the house, we decided on Wevet. The effect on the kitchen has been amazing, it has brightened it enormously but because of the slight grey/pink undertone, it feels warm and soft still. We loved it so much we have ended up painting the whole of our downstairs with it and paired it with Peignoir on the woodwork which compliments it nicely

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved this paint I am a first time F&B user and bought Wevet Eggshell to paint 7 doors and all the woodwork in my hall. It was lovely to paint with and went on very smoothly, was very quick drying and non drip. It only needed one coat which was a relief as I had a lot to do. I loved the flat matt finish and I have now started paining my walls in Oval Room Blue which it looks great with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful subtle white Love this white. It’s subtle with a barely there pink tone that is great in our front room to keep it warm. I’ve painted the fireplace in the black Railings which I also love from Farrow and Ball and it’s stunning. I love this white so much I’m going to use it in my bedroom next. I was an unbeliever but now I’m convinced that the quality of F&B paint is superior and it goes on so well. I’m converted!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dark Luxury Once again F&B came up trumps when I ordered Stiffkey Blue emulsion and Estate eggshell together with F&B recommended undecoat the overall finnish is excellent, Rich deep colour. Water based and easy to apply. One thing you must do when applying the Estate Eggshell, work fairly quickly and brush out to a smooth finish to acheive an even paint layer. Direction of brushing out is important especially on timber surfaces such as wood square panelling always keep to one finish direction with the brush stokes to acheive an amazing overall consistent finish with a deep lustre! I highly recommend it!
