The lightest, most delicate pink

The lightest and most delicate of our pinks, this charming colour is that of the tacking thread used in Haute Couture ateliers. It may be delicate but it’s strong in character and has enough colour contrast with white. Perfect paired with vintage finds or industrial accents, this shade works well in both traditional and modern schemes.

Complementary white: Wimborne White

The finest ingredients

The finest ingredients

We’re dedicated to perfecting the art of paint. At our home in Dorset, we combine the finest ingredients, 75 years of experience and technical precision to help you create beautiful spaces that stay beautiful. Even in our colour rich paints, less than 8% of the tin is the colour. The other 92% is what creates the quality, depth and extraordinary response to light that transforms your home.

Paint is like coffee. The colour is the froth on the top, but it’s the quality of the rest of the cup that makes it taste good.
– Richard Ball, Farrow & Ball Co-founder

We use twelve exclusive pigments, all specifically selected for their colour intensity. We take colour seriously, so naturally, we only accept the very best. By using these same pigments to make every colour in our palette, all our shades combine effortlessly, making it easy for you to put together a cohesive colour scheme.

Deeper, richer colours

Deeper, richer colours

Packed with pigment for an extraordinary response to every kind of light.

We add generous helpings of rich pigment to create our signature look – deep colours with complex undertones. The same space that feels bright and airy in morning sun, can feel cosy and intimate by evening. Our teams design each shade under every kind of light, so it will be perfectly balanced in every setting.

Extraordinary response to light

Extraordinary response to light

We spend months carefully crafting and testing each of our paint colours to make sure they share our signature extraordinary response to light. This beautiful reaction to changing light, like bringing out different undertones or shifting intensity, is what makes our paint so special.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous Paint! This colour is beautiful, such a lovely delicate shade of peachy pink. Matches very well with the mural on the wall and looks fabulous. Goes on really well and only needed two coats to cover quite a dark teal colour that was on the wall previously. Brilliant product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!! Painted the reception hall in Pink Ground, then the smaller hall in Tailor Tack (first photo) as it flows well from the Pink Ground which is slightly deeper in colour. I’ve just started the kitchen (second photo) - in Tailor Tack also. Current kitchen units are cream, and blue/grey. Tailor Tack is a very delicate shell pink in our house (mid 17th century, beams, low ceilings). The pink works well with all the wood. Used estate emulsion in hall and on the kitchen panel in photo. Will use modern emulsion for rest of kitchen. Using Wimborne White (for woodwork) with the Tailor Tack and the Pink Ground. So pleased with both colours! Love the chalky finish of the estate emulsion. Hope I like the modern emulsion too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great paint, great color This is a wonderful shade of pink that I used for my east-facing bedroom. It's just the right hint of pink that contrasts and tones nicely with my dark furniture. It covered the previously ivory walls in one coat and I think F&B made their estate emulsion easier to apply. I certainly had much less trouble with this than previous F&B decorating and I doubt I became a better painter. Go ahead, pain this beautiful color with confidence!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like soft sea shells I was so thrilled this new colour was released. I was looking for a way to warm up a hallway and landing without yellow undertones. It’s beautiful. As with so many F and B colours, it really does change with the light. Despite being ‘pink’ it is much more complex than that..and painting with F and B modern emulsion is a joy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft yet joyful office colour My home office is North East facing so this colour really warms the room in a light, happy pink. It’s modern and playful without being “girly”

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Colour Adore this colour in the images online and wanted it to work so badly for us, but sadly in our hallway/ landing natural light is limited, which seems to enhance the pinkness of this colour - resulting in a very cotton candy sweet pink- beautiful but not quite what we are after but an absolutely perfect option if you want a soft pink and don't have too much light. So now forever trying to replicate the shade of Tailor tack in the images but that works in our setting. As always the paint glided on and was a dream to paint even swatches with - it was a clear contrast in painting experiences I'd been having when using cheaper high street brands (trying everything to get the perfect colour).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gorgeous colour, terrible quality! I bought this paint to decorate my newly plastered/ misted and primed living room. The paint is a beautiful colour and goes on very well however I can’t say anything else positive. The paint once dried, cracked and peeled off the wall in strips. It shows up all marks and if I try to lightly clean it, it takes the paint off. I have had to have the paint colour matched to another brand and repaint the whole room. I’m so disappointed with the quality of the paint given the amount it costs.
