Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Subtle yellow colour. We painted a black little sideboard (after sanding it down) and the paint was very easy to use and the pigment is clearly beautiful quality. (We realised we wouldn't even have needed a 2nd coat, but since we thought beforehand we would we didn't paint tidy enough the 1st time.) For me, I wish I would've gone for something even 'less yellow' and toned down (I'm after an 'aged', only palest yellow tone; neutral rather than either warm or cold. The 'HAY' was a bit too yellow for what I was after this time. Might repaint if I find that and will look forward to trying Farrow & Ball again..!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What a terrible disappointment The colour proved to be a disaster for one of my SE-facing bedrooms. We used the undercoat recommended by FB and had to apply 3 coats to see the colour in its full glory. And what a glory it was! - it looked muddy, uninteresting, even messy, stuck somewhere in between light brown and green sludge. With nothing to lose i ordered the decorators to mix it with 2005 All white in varying proportions and none of those worked out to be a suitable paint for use anywhere in the property. It was my absolute nightmare to find out that after a promising testing pot results this colour in the volume destroyed the look of the room and caused a massive misspend for me.
