Delicate pink with a touch of grey

Calamine is indeed named after the lotion we all used as children to soothe nettle stings and rashes! A light touch of grey prevents this subtle pink from being too sugary, giving a much fresher finish. In smaller rooms it becomes intense, but in larger well lit rooms it feels much more delicate.

Recommended Primer & Undercoat: White & Light Tones

Complementary white: Great White

Back in 2010, we moved to an entirely water based range of finishes, becoming the first in the industry to do so. These low-odor, low-VOC finishes are easy to clean without harmful solvents. They also meet child- and baby-safe requirements in accordance with The Canada Cribs, Cradles and Bassinets Regulations, Canada Toy Regulations (SOR/2011-17) – Section 23 and ASTM F963 – 17 - Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety.

Our paint colours are available in a range of durable interior and exterior paint finishes, each rigorously tested to ensure an exceptional depth of colour and long-lasting finish. For the very best results, we always recommend using a Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat – see above for the correct tone for this colour.

All Farrow & Ball finishes except Limewash contain isothiazolinones, which may produce an allergic reaction. Farrow & Ball Limewash contains calcium hydroxide which can cause severe damage in contact with skin or eyes. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the perfect PINK We deliberated over Nancys Blushes, Middleton Pink, Sulking Room, Rangwali and Calamine. We didn't swatch any samples as I thought £25 was too much for me when the paint was £53 for 2.5l. Plus samples only come in Estate finish and I always go for Modern. I like the slight sheen this gives off. This was for my daughters bedroom she's 12. Its just perfect. Not too blancmange and not too candy pink either. I wanted it pink but not too girly for her heading into teenage-hood, in order to decorate so soon after in case she grows out of it. It's a gorgeous calming dusky pink for me. And as F&B colours do, it changes colour with the light which is the absolute beauty and delight of this paint. We did it ourselves and managed with a 2.5 litre tin (two coats) one wall being all wardrobes floor to ceiling. You wont be disappointed it makes me so happy to see. I dont do PINK lol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Subtle merging I followed the suggestion for matching the Calamine on the walls with the Great White Modern Eggshell finish and particularly the Great White emulsion for the ceiling. The effect is to merge all aspects of the room in one delightful blend of colour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Calamine is so soothing When decorating my dressing room I was unsure what tones would look appropriate in a period property, this fitted the bill perfectly, the room has transformed into a light and airy space and the colour is a beautiful pink/grey
