A dark and sophisticated lavender
Brassica’s rich lavender tones feel charming in light areas, but become much more sophisticated and grey in darker areas due to an underlying hint of black. Named after the group of plants which includes purple sprouting broccoli, this warm shade lifts cold feeling rooms without being overtly red. It is often combined with Elephant's Breath and Skimming Stone for a rich, contemporary feel.

Not as good as your old oil-based eggshell!
As ever with F&B, the colour was great and the application pretty good. But alas these water-based eggshells will never compete with oil-based ones when it comes to painting furniture - and even window sills. The paint comes off at the slightest provocation - just like previous experiences I've had, moving a vase from one position to another was enough to leave me with a small repair job as the paint just doesn't have that toughness and durability - in fact it is extremely delicate. Fine for a pretty, decorative job - but not really up to normal everyday wear and tear - unless you're happy to do running repairs!!

Beautiful
Beautiful & subtle colour - presenting as lilac with grey undertones in my opinion. The entrance to my house has been transformed by painting my front door from a Royal blue to Brassica applying only 2 coats. It has also worked well on a galvanised steel post near our front door. The door opens on to a hallway painted in plummet whilst facing a half turning staircase painted in down pipe along with a facing wall in pelt. In my opinion Brassica is a beautiful colour & it compliments all the mentioned colours very well creating a striking & contemporary impression.
