And their perfectly paired palettes

Bay Blue, Leighton Teal and Portobello Pink are the latest additions to The Complementary Colour Collection, a joint endeavour between our own colour experts and our friends at The Rug Company. Like all of the rugs in the collection, these three shades have been designed as the perfect accent to a portion of the Farrow & Ball palette – in this case, our nine new colours.

Below, you’ll find the story behind each hue, as well as ready-to-use palettes, making it beautifully simple to bring your rooms to life with colour and texture.

Bay Blue

A fresh and revitalising deep indigo blue, evoking the sea and sky. Bay Blue takes its name from the inky tones of San Francisco bay seen at dusk on a visit to The Rug Company’s showroom in the city.
