The Best Colour Consultancy Transformations of 2021

Written on 26th December 2021

This year, our Colour Consultants have helped countless people create a home they love. And while we don’t have space here for every single one, we think this highlight reel shows just what our experts (and the tailored colour advice service they provide) can do.

If these case studies have taught us anything, it’s that no two colour consultancies are alike. Well, except for the fact that they all help take the stress out of choosing a new look – that’s a pretty big plus whatever your style.

Our whistle-stop tour takes us through private homes and familiar facades, turn-of-the-century chalets and modern apartments, sophisticated neutrals and bold new palettes. Climb aboard, and you may just find yourself inspired.

The Sun-Soaked Bedroom

Back in February, the imminent arrival of a new baby compelled wellbeing expert Jasmine Hemsley to reimagine her home. Taking her cues from Jasmine’s love of nature, our Colour Curator Joa Studholme used our Colour by Nature collection to create a bold, 70s-inspired palette for the master bedroom and bathroom.

Before colour expert Kat Billings started work on this Herefordshire holiday rental, its neutral interior felt at odds with its awe-inspiring setting above the scenic Wye Valley. Now, its distinctive wood-clad interior is home to rich greens, moody blues and soft pinks that far better reflect owner Cathy’s love of colour.

The Colour-Filled Apartment

This spacious apartment on Berlin’s Greifswalderstraße provided both opportunity and challenge for our Colour Consultancy Co-ordinator Marcel Ullrich, who transformed the formerly blank space into a warm and inviting home using an artfully chosen mix of our current and Archive colours.

The Characterful First Home

Unlike the apartment above, this London property was already home to two inhabitants and their most treasured possessions before its transformation at the hands of Joa Studholme. Its new characterful look just goes to show – sometimes a lick of colour is the essential piece of the puzzle when it comes to making a new place feel like home.

The Like-New Kitchen

This lovely light-filled kitchen isn’t just a great example of the difference a colour consultancy can make, it’s also the ultimate recycling project. Having chosen pre-loved cabinets and fixtures from Used Kitchen Exchange, homeowner Gary enlisted the help of a Farrow & Ball Colour Consultant to rework the kitchen in a sophisticated neutral palette that suits his space down to the ground.
