Our Iconic Spaces competition invited design enthusiasts to showcase spaces that celebrate the positive power of colour. The outstanding winners our judges selected have used Farrow & Ball paint and paper to a stunning effect, crafting spaces that delight and inspire.
Entries were judged by an esteemed panel of experts at Farrow & Ball: Joa Studholme (Colour Curator), Patrick O’Donnell (International Brand Ambassador), Charlotte Cosby (Creative Director), and Gareth Hayfield (Head of Research and Development).
After reviewing the exceptionally high standard of entries from around the world, our expert judges chose not one but two overall winners of Iconic Spaces 2026. As part of the prize, our professional team photographed their spaces, capturing how colour has brought each one to life.

Overall Winners
Best Use of Signature Palette
The first of our two winners used a delightful palette of our signature colours to enhance the traditional architecture of the bedroom in this Georgian farmhouse. This is a masterclass in colour pairings, with muted Setting Plaster walls and ceilings combined with a joyful pop of Yeabridge Green across the feature windows, and darkest Studio Green on the freestanding bath.

A word from our judges:
Patrick O’Donnell, International Brand Ambassador for Farrow & Ball, said:
“We were all unanimous that the award should be spilt to fully represent Farrow & Ball as both a heritage and modern brand. We all wanted to dive into the bath and were scenario-playing on music and scent to accompany the bubbles, but we also loved the way soft pastels played such a striking, yet empathetic role in the structure of the new extension.”
Joa Studholme, Colour Curator for Farrow & Ball said:
“The skillful layering of our Archive colours in this space can’t help but make one feel happy. The playful use of three colours makes for a sunny and uplifting space created by the juxtaposition of three very different tones, but each with the same intensity.”
