This page is here to help you get the most out of the Specification Tool.  The tool is designed to make it easy to record and share specifications following a colour consultancy. 


We’re currently in Version 1, and your feedback plays a huge role in helping us improve.

Why can’t I add Bamboo Wallpaper to my specification?

We’re sorry — Bamboo Wallpaper isn’t currently available in the Specification Tool. 
 Our team is working to make it accessible in a future update. Thank you for your patience! 

Why can’t I add Stabilising Primer with other products in the same space? 

At the moment, Stabilising Primer can only be added to a space on its own. 
 Try adding it separately — this ensures the specification records correctly

Why is my specification blank when I open it?

Does the specification contain Bamboo wallpaper or Stabilising Primer?

If yes, unfortunately you'll need to recreate the spec from scratch. Please follow the advice above if you need to add stabilising primer.

We are working on a better solution.

Why can't my customer open a specification I've shared with them?

Please double-check that the customer’s email address is entered correctly and all in lower case. 
 If everything looks right, try removing the share and sharing it again. To remove the share click on "Sharing" on the specification, click the x to remove a share. Then re-share by entering the email address again.

The email template links are redirecting customers to the wrong website. What should I do?

This issue has now been fixed everywhere except Canada and we are working on that as a high priority.

Affected customers will need to be sent a new link by sharing the specification with them again. 

I'm having trouble adding Flat Eggshell to a specification

To resolve this issue please clear your browser data, log out and log back in then try again.

Why has my customer not received their order?

My customer does not see their discount in the basket

In order for the discount to be applied, the products need to be added to the basket from the specification itself - using the "Add to basket" buttons.
