A warm, welcoming pink
A historic-feeling pink, this shade was developed for the dining room at Templeton House to offset the magnificent Wedgwood plaques made to commemorate the former owner, although it suits a contemporary setting just as well. A more intense version of Setting Plaster or Pink Ground, it creates a warm, welcoming space, particularly in low light where this shade becomes surprisingly deep.
We’re dedicated to perfecting the art of paint. At our home in Dorset, we combine the finest ingredients, 75 years of experience and technical precision to help you create beautiful spaces that stay beautiful. Even in our colour rich paints, less than 8% of the tin is the colour. The other 92% is what creates the quality, depth and extraordinary response to light that transforms your home.
Paint is like coffee. The colour is the froth on the top, but it’s the quality of the rest of the cup that makes it taste good. – Richard Ball, Farrow & Ball Co-founder
We use twelve exclusive pigments, all specifically selected for their colour intensity. We take colour seriously, so naturally, we only accept the very best. By using these same pigments to make every colour in our palette, all our shades combine effortlessly, making it easy for you to put together a cohesive colour scheme.
Deeper, richer colours
Deeper, richer colours
Packed with pigment for an extraordinary response to every kind of light.
We add generous helpings of rich pigment to create our signature look – deep colours with complex undertones. The same space that feels bright and airy in morning sun, can feel cosy and intimate by evening. Our teams design each shade under every kind of light, so it will be perfectly balanced in every setting.
Extraordinary response to light
Extraordinary response to light
We spend months carefully crafting and testing each of our paint colours to make sure they share our signature extraordinary response to light. This beautiful reaction to changing light, like bringing out different undertones or shifting intensity, is what makes our paint so special.

Warm en cosyGreat colour. We used stirabout for the one wall in our living room and templeton pink for the other. Love the combination. So warm.

LovelyLovely colour and quality - we've used it to paint a previously light grey/green in our open-plan kitchen and Living Room. The paint covered well and has given the walls a lovely warm glow

Atmospheric deep plaster colourWe have decorated our north facing sitting room with a brick fireplace in this beautiful warming tone. Would describe it as wet plaster and therefore a shade deeper than setting plaster. We have paired it with deep brown shades in the rug and paler aqua tones in the soft furnishings. It is a perfect background colour for a cosseting space and has transformed the feel of our large space. A braver call for me as I would usually go for cooler tones but this has made me think of pinky-brown tones for other spaces. Great with Pointing on ceiling and trim.

Pleasing PinkTempleton Pink is not sugary or sweet or girlish; it is a pink of substance. Paired with Ringwold Ground in an attic bedroom -- using neutral RG on the walls and sloped ceiling and TP on the trim and fireplace -- it provides character, warmth and charm. It does intensify significantly at night and displays a greyish tone at certain angles in the stairwell, but such variations are what let you know that you are living with a paint of depth and personality.

Great colour, not very pigmented. Primer requiredI did a colour consultation and this colour was suggested for the hall at the entrance, for the kitchen and a wall in the living room. It is beautiful: very calming, unexpected and classy. However the pigmentation is not great: luckily I used the F&B primer otherwise I would have had to paint at least three layers to have a smooth coverage. It is not as creamy and covering as pelt, for example. Considering the price I was expecting more. In the end I got the result that I wanted but without the F&B primer it would have been a failure. I painted the ceiling with stirabout and it looks gorgeous.

Bit darker and stronger than expectedI tried Setting Plaster and Templeton Pink on card and went with the latter because I thought Setting Plaster looked a bit too pink and girly.
Having done the room fully, Templeton Pink is a bit darker and stronger than expected, even in my south-west facing room with a big window (see picture with Setting Plaster card for comparison - excuse grimy neighbouring block). I like the colour but I'm not sure if I will keep it since it's a small room. Maybe I'll go with Setting Plaster instead. Will mull over it! The decorator liked working with it, anyway.

Thin paintFirst time user of F&B paint, so disappointed. Very thin and needs min 3 costs if not 4.

A little disenchanted…For the first time (in many years of buying F&B) I find myself more than a tad disenchanted!
I bought Middleton Pink on the strength of the description (another first as I have always tested colours with sample pots in the past) as was mid decorating the hall, stairs and landing.
As the stair and landing walls below the picture rail were being painted in Setting Plaster (SP) I decided that above the picture rail on the landing and the skylight tunnel needed something richer to deepen the warm glow of the SP so jumped at Templeton Pink…but oh how I wish I hadn’t!
The colour has a greyed, cold tone to it which not only distracts from the warm softness of the SP beneath, but make it look almost grubby!
Very disappointed as it is an area that is way too high for me to reach to repaint and I certainly can’t afford to call the decorator back!
A lesson learnt ~ never rely on another’s description of colour…even if it is the creator’s own!
