A lighter lead
This strong architectural grey is named after the lead often used by anglers to weight their lines. Plummett intensifies in colour in smaller spaces and has a strikingly modern feel which is conducive to minimal living. Used as much on woodwork to define dramatic spaces as it is on walls, Plummett is one of our most hard-edged and industrial feeling greys.

A stylish and warm colour
Absolutely adore this colour - wasn't as dark as I feared, and really looks warm and stylish. Had lots of extremely positive comments from family and friends. Made the mistake of using paint pads at first, which made it streak! Please avoid those and use a good quality roller - makes all the difference!
So glad I went for this colour - I did try Manor House Grey but found this to be a bit too light for my taste. Plummett is the perfect in between shade - not too light and not too dark.
Couldn't rate it highly enough - I adore it!

Plummett Estate Emulsion - very poor coverage
Although painting over a similar colour, it eventually took 3 - 4 coats of the plummett estate emulsion to get a decent even coverage. Having used F&B for 15 years, this is the first time this has happened - I would always expect 2 coats of paint at this price to be enough. The paint was more like a poor, cheap brand than the quality I would expect from F&B. I made a complaint and it was dealt with very well (another tin was sent without quibbling) - however, I ended up spending more than an additional day decorating the room when frankly I had much better things to do with my time!
