A lively cobalt blue
This strong cobalt blue, with its dose of black pigment, takes its name from the dark sticky tar often used in roofing. Pitch Blue has an almost purple feel to it and is extremely lively in south facing rooms, especially when contrasted with bright shades such as All White. However, it looks more sober and rich when used in areas deprived of light or those lit in the evening by candles.

“An almost purple feel to it” - it’s as purple as the Milka chocolate bar wrapper
I had bought this to gloss an old wooden rocking chair, I had hoped for a deeply pigmented rich sophisticated blue/subtle purple hue that highlighted my exquisite taste and fashion-forward interior design.
Sadly what I got was a garish 1980’s style purple that almost exactly matches the colour of a Milka chocolate bar wrapper. Needless to say this wasn’t what I had in mind for my country house, and I dare say I could have achieved this naf colour with Dulux for a fraction of the price.
The quality of the dark tones undercoat and paint itself is absolutley acceptable but the colour itself is nothing short of Mr Joe Average.

Beautiful and Unique Color!
I saw this color in a House Beautiful ad and knew immediately that I wanted to paint the front door of my Bed and Breakfast this color. I tried to find the color locally in stores, but the color is so unique that I couldn't find anything similar. So, I purchased it online, and it arrived within a couple of days. Thanks so much for providing such lovely and unique colors that look so good. I love how the front door of my inn now looks so welcoming and inviting!
