Pigeon

No.25

A strong blue grey

This cosy and nostalgic blue grey is named after the colour of the bird often sighted around the London landscape. Softer and bluer than more contemporary grey shades like Mole's Breath, Pigeon is particularly suited for use in boot rooms, cloakrooms or darker spaces like studies and panelled rooms. It is also incredibly popular on kitchen islands with the more delicate Dimpse on units.

Recommended Primer & Undercoat: Mid Tones

Complementary white: Shaded White

Pigeon is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 128.

ECO-FRIENDLY AND CHILD-SAFE

Back in 2010, we moved our entire range to an eco-friendly water base that’s low odour, low VOC and child-safe, becoming the first in the industry to do so. Easy to clean without harmful solvents, in tins that can be recycled again and again, our paints help to reduce the environmental impact of redecorating your home.

QUALITY FINISHES

Every one of our paint colours is available in a range of durable interior and exterior paint finishes, each rigorously tested to ensure an exceptional depth of colour and long-lasting finish. For the very best results, we always recommend using a Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat – see above for the correct tone for this colour.

All Farrow & Ball finishes except Limewash contain isothiazolinones, which may produce an allergic reaction. Farrow & Ball Limewash contains calcium hydroxide which can cause severe damage in contact with skin or eyes. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive paint The paint is very good but I think it is very expensive otherwise I would buy a lot more as I do a lot of decorating and sometimes it could mean losing a job or buying another brand

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful colour I have used Pigeon before on my kitchen units in our house in France, but bought it this time for my front door as we now live in a Georgian Cottage and I have to say as usual the colour and quality of paint is just perfect! I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing coverage Excellent value. Although it may be more expensive than other brands, it actually saves in the long run because of its durability and excellent coverage. We were amazed how far it went and are still using!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent!! I bought this paint as I needed to go with water based paint as opposed to oil based gloss. I used the appropriate under coat also. I was extremely pleased with the results, Colour and finish excellent and clean up of brushes was a dream.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great paint! I first painted my garden workshop with Farrow and Ball 12 years ago, and I’ve now repainted it. Sanded the few flakey bits down and used just one coat - excellent coverage, even with a slight change of colour. Repainted the table and benches on the terrace too!
