A deliciously deep purple
This deep and luxurious purple has a regal feel and derives its name from untreated animal hides. Much bluer in feel than the similarly strong Brinjal, Pelt can appear almost black in darker spaces and is particularly sensational in Full Gloss. Pair with Brassica to create a dark and moody scheme or soften with the more delicate shades of Middleton Pink and Great White.
Recommended Primer & Undercoat: Dark Tones

Brilliant finish & colour, tricky paint
I used this for an an accent wall against Teresa's Green. I am hugely pleased with the result, but (speaking as a first-time decorator) I found this paint more difficult to work with than the green -the consistency is a bit runnier and when using a brush I found it more likely to drip unexpectedly.
That's not too much of an issue though as F&B craft excellent water-based paints which are very easy to clean up! Soap&water! (and I doubt if I needed the soap)
In fact the paints are of such quality that I think you could use whatever room you were doing while the painting was on going -no fumes at all and quick to dry.

Marks very easily / Poor coverage/ Touch ups show!
I am a professional painter & decorator, the colour looks great! BUT.. I painted some Kitchen units on the specification of a customer who had been advised by F&B to use Estate eggshell, that's normal and what is commonly used, just running a clean finger over doors would mark it, this is because of the depth of colour, so we tried again with modern eggshell, same scinario! also it took an extra coat to cover Touching up any bits is also impossile as they stand out like a sore thumb, thus you have to re-paint a whole panel.
I use F&B paint alot and these problems are purely down to the specific colour "Pelt" other deep colours will react the same
