A light and contemporary taupe
A warm Red Based Neutral named after our first Colour Consultant Joa, who still develops many Farrow & Ball colours. Joa’s White is a light and clean taupe with the merest hint of black pigment which makes it perfect to combine with the limestone, leather and linens often used in contemporary homes.
Recommended Primer & Undercoat: Mid Tones
Complementary white: Dimity

Neutral but warm, simply gorgeous!
I had been looking for a colour for my hallway and stairs for ages looking for something neutral but warm without yellow tones. I was not disappointed with our choice in fact it looked better than I imagined. The online and colour charts seemed a little different to the colour it actually is but it is just stunning. This is warm colour but not beige or yellow. It lifts the hallway without being too dark but is enough in colour to contrast with the high white skirts and woodwork we have. I am now converted to farrow and ball. The first coat is a little patchy but I had anticipated this from other reviews but after a second the tone and coverage is achieved.

far exceeds my expectations
I used Joa's White in master bedroom. It is a large room on two levels, south facing but small windows and low ceiling and lots of fitted wardrobes so I needed a colour scheme to bring the room together but also promote light and flow. I have absolutely no imagination so was pleased farrow provide very detailed colour scheme advice. I painted wardrobes in Dimity and walls in Joa's white and ceiling in pointing and coordinated with fabrics in muted blues and linen from Jane Forman. The paint is the best on the market and even my husband is happy, which is a first!
