A deep dark blue
This strong blue takes its name from the fantastically coloured woodwork much used by the Dutch, and still works wonderfully to ground skirtings or as an accent colour on the walls when teamed with Borrowed Light. The green undertones of this timeless, deep and dramatic blue means it sits as happily outside as it does in small dark rooms.
Available in our brand new Dead Flat® finish for walls, woodwork and metal.
Recommended Primer & Undercoat: Dark Tones

Perfect Colour
I was looking for a deep blue and tried a few. This turned out to be the perfect colour, covered well and very happy with the results.

Wonderful Product!
@'Disappointed Karen'... I would suggest that as a painting professional of many years who has always used Farrow and Ball and always found them to be of the very highest quality in every respect, far better than, for example, Little Green, which I have found to be really quite shamefully inferior, the pictures below represent nothing more than a fraudulent attempt to damage the long-standing and exceptional reputation that Farrow and Ball enjoys, as well as to possibly extort money from the company fraudulently, as the last image shows strips of gloss which have exceptionally clearly just been scraped off the surface to which they have been applied, as is evidenced by the serrated edges of the strip, as well as the long thin nature of the same (paint which peels off by itself for whatever reason always has smooth edges and will never form a strip as narrow and as long as this by its inherent nature; it is physically impossible for it to do so), by the looks of it without having bothered to apply a suitable primer or undercoat at all, as the surface beneath the dark blue paint is a yellowy-white, and before it's had chance to dry properly, from looking at the texture and plasticity of the paint strip. I am truly appalled that people make such blatant attempts to denigrate and defraud such wonderful companies with such outstanding products as Farrow and Ball, but sadly this appears to be the world we live in today. I hope that Farrow and Ball go to the Fraud Squad about this, to help prevent other similarly upstanding companies from being targeted by such nefarious individuals as this. My local stores are Islington and Chelsea.
