A rich burgundy
The deep blackened pigmentation of our Eating Room Red gives a rich burgundy finish with a wonderfully aged feel. This, our most elegant red, takes its name from the colouring of the red damasks so popular in dining rooms in the mid-19th century and reads almost like a saturated purple if you compare it to the more modern looking Incarnadine.

Lovely rich colour
I've used this on doors and small tables. It's a very deep red, with very slight underlying tones of terracotta. It looks like it's been there for decades.
I used it in a small, dark north-facing kitchen with Off White skirting and Old White walls, and it looks great.
On things such as tables, it goes with almost any colour scheme I've tried it with, and gives an injection of colour and a depth of shade whilst not being too attention-seeking.

Delighted!
An old favourite of ours and the perfect choice for the dining room in our new home. The previous owner had used a contemporary colour, incongruous with the age of the property and its period features, in our opinion. By choosing Eating Room Red we created the warm, heritage feel we were looking for.
It is important to use the appropriate Warm & Red Tones undercoat which appears a terracotta colour when applied. Two good coats of Estate Emulsion afterwards achieved the desired deep, overall colour with no show-through.
Thank you F&B
