A relaxed green blue
This vintage blue takes its name from one of the first Farrow & Ball stockists based in East Anglia. Like many of our blues, Dix Blue has a large dose of green included in it, making it both warm and easy to live with. A touch of black pigment brings a slightly aged and relaxed vintage feel, making it perfect for use on upcycled furniture, panelling and woodwork, as well as living room walls.

Delighted with the result
I've used this colour on all 4 walls of my east facing sitting room in a modern home. I chose it after much deliberation and after flicking through just about all the "inspiration" pages I could find. I did wonder whether it would be too strong a colour for the whole room and whether I should use it with another paler colour. But the result is fantastic, all my visitors are loving it too and I couldn't be more satisfied. For information it contrasts well with my black stand alone log burner with internal pipe work also in black. I have matched it with white dulux woodwork and ceiling. It looks crisp, and bright yet warm and cosy if that's not a contradiction.

Prettiest blue green
The quality is ofcourse excellent as with all farrow and ball products. This is a new addition to their colour range and I liked it because it is similar to duck egg but much much more complex than that colour, slighty darker. i love this colour because it is both masculine and feminine so its the perfect balance of green and blue. I used Down pipe for the feature wall as i wanted to create a darker look in bedroom, looks amazing. used slipper satin for the wood furniture.
