A very pale taupe
Dimity is named after the lightweight cotton fabric originally used to make ladies’ bustles, but which is now more commonly used for bedding. One of our Red Based Neutrals, this pale and subdued taupe is brimming with warmth and an unmatchable depth, making it perfect for elegant and understated hallways. It can be combined with All White and Pointing to read pinker, or with the darker Oxford Stone on woodwork for a slightly aged look and relaxed feel.

Par Excellence
After hanging Farrow And Ball wallpaper this led my daughter wanting her bedroom furniture repainting. Decided not to use all purpose primer such as, Zinser. Simply, rubbed down with fine wet and dry and sugar soap. Two coats of Farrow and Ball light tones primer undercoat plus two coats of Dimity eggshell, applied with a small roller and one of Farrow and Balls excellent 1" brushes. Completed within 2 days, finish is outstanding. Very happy daughter. Cannot recommend highly enough just now stunning the finished product is. Will recommend Farrow and Ball to anyone prepared to spend a little more on paint to achieve such excellent results.

Good quality makes a good job, even for amateurs
Over the last eighteen months my partner and I have been redecorating his house, an 1860s railwaymen's cottage which had been badly beaten up by previous occupants. We have been using Dimity throughout with touches of Oxford Stone in the alcoves. The paint quality is wonderful - it covers well and is luminous in all types of light. Had a steep learning curve in painting technique, as we have had to resist going back over drying patches (ended up with lots of roller tracks that had to be repainted). It is so quick-drying that we got caught out! Really pleased with all F & B products, including rollers and brushes. Not cheap but worth the money.t
