A vibrant blue
Cook’s Blue was inspired by the rich and poignant finish in the cook’s closet at Calke Abbey where the walls had been untouched for many decades. This bright and deeply pigmented colour is perfect for use both in kitchens and exterior eating areas, as this vibrant tone is said to deter flies! But it is perfectly at home anywhere in the house.

Fantastic colour, excellent paint
We chose this blue for our kitchen, in two finishes, Estate Emulsion (for new partition walls) and Casein Distemper (for old walls needing breatheable paint).
Both paints went on easily and covered wonderfully with little or no streaking. The colour is amazing, incredibly rich and deep and - considering it's a strong blue - not at all cold.
I would definitely recommend that the advice to use a large test area, viewed throughout the day, is followed - the look of this colour varies more with different light levels than other F&B shades I've used.

Wonderfull bold color
I used this color to bring back life to our kitchen in our cottage in the mountains. I used it to paint part of the kitchen furniture over an old dark brown paint (for the rest of the furniture I used Theresa's Green). I also used Cook's Blue for roller wall paint pattern. I was surprised not only by sophistication in the color, but also by the general quality of the paint itself with respect to drying time, ease of aplication and "coverabilty" (one or two layers were way sufficient for me). Sorry for my bad english.
