A deep and playful orange
Charlotte's Locks takes its inspiration from the flame red hair of our Head of Creative and brings a playful late 1970s look. This deep and dramatic orange is particularly spectacular when used in small areas with a sharp contrast either in All White or Black Blue - for the very brave, do try in Full Gloss!

Beautiful vibrant colour
I used estate eggshell to paint an inner door in our house. It is a beautiful and vibrant but not overbearing, orange. However, must add that it was not completely easy to use. I am quite an experienced (non- professional) painter and this paint required 4 coats over the undercoat to hide any brush strokes etc. Pretty labour intensive and more so than some of the other Farrow and Ball colours I've used previously. For me it was worth the effort as I love the colour but I was surprised at the number of coats required.

Rich orange colour
We dithered over this for a while for a feature wall before deciding that we couldn’t find another orange we liked as much. We applied two coats with the recommended undercoat and we are very happy with the results. The idea is that it will give a warm glow when the sun sets during the summer but we will have to wait a while to see that.
