A brilliant red
Blazer is a bright and cheerful vermilion which reads like a cleaner, more contemporary version of Rectory Red. It grabs your attention just like the sports blazers worn at St John’s College, Cambridge after which it was named. Close in colour to orange, this rich hue is both regal and charming.

Amazing colour
I have painted a small west-facing room in Blazer (white ceiling) and the result is beautiful. Warm in the morning and at night and glowing in the afternoon sun. Blazer has none of the heaviness of the darker or more firey reds (which I find rather cloying after a while) but no terracotta-ish or otherwise weak inflexion either. Very full in a rounded, livable, warm way. It makes the room, and it really does make it feel bigger.

Lovely rich colour
I employed a decorator to put the colour on the wall. He asked me do I really want to put this colour on the wall in an aghast manner. I said yes, but he obviously thought it was a crazy idea, and kept saying 'well..if you like it....' On finishing the wall and seeing it dry he said surprisingly 'that's a really great colour!' And me, I love it!
It's a beautiful colour...regal slightly, maybe reminiscent of a rectory, but updated to provide warmth and depth to our homes. You won't be disappointed!
