£5 for A5 paper sheet...
The sample for the California series is an approx a5 sheet of paper, priced the same as the familiar sample size tins of paint. The tins of real paint give a much better testing opportunity so I was rather disappointed by these swatches in terms of usability and price. If they were £1 then great, you could buy several and put them up in different areas simultaneously. Mine also arrived very crumpled in the post. The colours are nice, however, but I’m sticking to the colours I’ve tested with real paint as I feel more confident in the real colours I’ll ultimately get and wish this range was available with the usual testers. Some may find them far more convenient, however. Just make sure you understand what you’re getting.

Cheeky rip-off!
Received a small piece of paper in the post with the colour Salt illustrated on it....thought it was a nice gesture with it being a new colour...didn't realise, but do now, that it was instead of a sample pot and I'd been charged £4.95 for it. I am expecting a refund, this is absolutely outrageous!
