Sustainability: Our Wallpaper
The process for creating our handcrafted wallpaper starts with rolls of high-quality, vinyl free paper sourced from sustainably managed forests, continues with our small-batch manufacturing, and ends with a beautiful, durable product that’s printed with our own paints.
Paint on Paper
All of the paper we use is sourced from sustainably managed forests and manufactured in small batches at our Dorset factory. When we print it, we do so with our own water based paints and no vinyl.
As our wallpaper doesn’t contain any vinyl, you may be able to recycle it in your area. Check with your local household waste recycling centre for their policy on accepting wallpaper for recycling.
All of the paints we use to print our wallpapers have been independently tested and certified toy-safe in accordance with Safety of Toys Part 3: Migration of certain elements (EN 71-3:2019+A1:2021).
None of the paints we use to print our wallpapers, the glazes we use to protect them, or the paste we use to hang them, contain any animal derivatives. They’ve never been tested on animals, nor will they ever be, which means you can rest assured that you’re bringing your home to life with a proudly cruelty-free product.
