Goals For Our Future

We’re not resting on our laurels. We’ve got big plans for the future of Farrow & Ball. Importantly, these are measurable goals so we can see our progress and hold ourselves accountable.

Product

  • We will contribute to the Hempel A/S target to reduce Scope 3 of the group's carbon footprint by 50% by 2030
  • We aim to further reduce the overall carbon footprint of our raw materials
  • We will continue to substitute fossil-based ingredients with sustainably sourced renewable alternative where possible
  • We will always maintain water based formulations across our full range
  • We will monitor and respond to the changing science and legislation surrounding SPMs (commonly known as ‘microplastics’)

Performance

  • We will contribute to the Hempel A/S target to reduce Scope 1 of the group's carbon emissions by 90% by 2026
  • We will maintain our current level of zero for our Scope 2 CO2 emissions across our manufacturing and warehouse sites
  • We will assess Scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions for our showroom estate to drive improvements
  • We will continue to send zero waste to landfill from our production sites
  • We aim to achieve 50% recycled content in primary and secondary packaging by the end of 2026

People

  • We will maintain the gender diversity ratios we’re so proud of
  • We will continue to promote inclusion and diversity in the workplace through our benefits, training, leadership and partnerships
  • We will continue to prioritise a safety-first culture to prevent lost time accidents in the workplace
  • We will continue to give back to charity partners and causes we’re passionate about

Partners

  • We will continue to commit to an ethical supply chain, only sourcing from responsible providers who agree to our code of conduct
  • We will maintain public transparency through the publication of an annual responsibility report
  • We will continue educating our employees, stockists and customers on sustainable practices and decorating

We recognise that measurable goals, transparency and accountability are essential for improvement. So we commit to identifying ways we can quantifiably measure aspects of our responsibility actions.
