Created using a single colour of our water based paint, our Drag papers are wonderfully simple to match with your existing scheme, while the traditional application method leaves beautifully textured brush marks on the surface of the paper.

Full roll width is 53cm/21", roll length is 10m. Available in 112 colourways.

Both the pattern shown above and the colours listed are for guidance only. The physical product may not be an exact match to paint colours in our palette or the digital representation of the pattern. To ensure this is the perfect paper for your project, we recommend ordering a free sample. Our traditional methods of crafting wallpaper can result in minor differences between batches. For the most consistent results, it’s best to order all the rolls you need in one go.

Farrow & Ball Wallpaper

Handcrafted in Dorset using traditional methods and our very own paint, you won’t find wallpaper like ours anywhere else.

Expertly handcrafted

Handcrafted using traditional printing methods and bespoke equipment, every roll of our wallpaper is made in small batches by the artisans at our Dorset factory for an extraordinary finish.

A coat of the background colour is brushed on, creating the same visible brushstrokes, texture and added depth it would have in the 18th century. Then the embellishment follows, using flatbed, roller or the open-trough method. These techniques mean every repeat of the pattern is slightly different and completely unique.

Created using our paints

You won’t find wallpaper like ours anywhere else.

Our wallpaper is paint on paper, rather than digitally printed ink, and not just any paint, we use our very own richly pigmented, water based paints. Paint on paper creates a beautifully tactile, textured finish that adds interest to any wall. Using Farrow & Ball paint in particular, means every design has the unrivalled richness and depth of colour we’re known for. The final touch is a fine layer of protective glaze.

Sustainably sourced paper

To try and lessen our impact on the planet, we’ve made sure all the paper we use is sourced from sustainably managed forests and because our wallpaper contains no vinyl, any offcuts are recyclable. Do check the specific policy in your local area to see how to recycle yours. See our Sustainability page for details.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average quality Having hung 100’s of papers, I can confirm this paper is of average quality, not the high end you’d expect given the f&b price tag, posh packaging etc. You need a fresh blade with every cut, otherwise it’ll tear & I let it soak 5 mins- not the 10 mins advised, otherwise you’ll be prizing and tipping the paper apart. Wouldn’t rush to use again.
