Great undercoat.
As others have mentioned, it can apply in somewhat varying ways across your wall. But persevere, just carry on across and roll back over later once it’s drying off to fill in the patches.
I put it down to a cheap silk finish paint that I was trying to cover and even with a good sanding some of it wouldn’t shift, hence the greasy finish at first with the undercoat. Once you’ve filled it, it drys to a cracking finish and paints beautifully.
Could probably use others undercoats, ZinBin etc, but the quality ones work out the same if not more expensive than FB unless you’re trade so for the home improver, you can’t go wrong with this stuff.

Worth buying!
We used this primer, as recommended, before painting our living room in De Nimes blue/grey. It was definitely worth using, both for blocking out the previous colour and for giving a great surface to then paint onto.

Primer revival
Bought this because farrow and ball bragged it up to enhance the top coat colour when dry. I must admit they where right it’s quite amazing the difference compared to other good quality products you can buy. The best part is how much easier it is to apply you emulsion after apply the primer. Also I think you use less paint. Would definitely recommend

So impressed with delivery times
I bought the undercoat from F&B website- so impressed with their delivery times. I was waiting for the colour from another retailer who said it would take 2 weeks- after 4 there was still no sign of it so cancelled and bought it again from F&B directly- it took 3 days. Great quality service- many thanks
