A pale creamy white
Our prettiest white is named after the old, pre-brightened, starched cotton used for white tie jackets. One of our Yellow Based Neutrals, White Tie brings a gentle warmth to any room and is deepened with a touch of black pigment. Combine with Matchstick, String and New White for a delicate scheme with reassuringly creamy undertones.

LOVELY DELICATE CREAM...
I purchased this paint for a client of mine who wanted a delicate cream to tie in with her new colour scheme. I was undecided which one to choose as Farrow and Ball do so many lovely shades of cream. After reading many reviews I made the plunge and purchased White Tie and I'm so glad I did. It's a lovely delicate cream not to yellow in colour and it compliments a wide range of colours. It's easy to apply and has very good coverage but does need two coats to get the best finish and depth in colour. I would defiantly recommend this paint as the quality is fabulous, so thank you Farrow and Ball you made me and my client very happy.

White Tie "Full Gloss" Paint
I have used Farrow and Ball Emulsion paints on a number of occasions and have always been pleased with the results: in application, finish and durability. However, this is the first time I have used Farrow and Ball 'Full Gloss' paint. Application was satisfactory on small areas such as dado rail and skirting boards, where you can maintain a wet edge. But the result was disastrous when painting my doors. My doors are the pseudo panelled type, where I found that the paint was drying too quickly, creating steps and brush marks in the paint. I gave up in the end and went back to an oil based paint which gave better flow with no steps and dry edges.
