A dark grey green
This enduring colour is a dark green version of Farrow & Ball classic Pigeon, hence being named after the green variety of the same species. Although traditional in feel, Treron is perfect for modern homes where lots of natural materials are used or as an accent for both French Gray and our Traditional Neutrals.
We’re dedicated to perfecting the art of paint. At our home in Dorset, we combine the finest ingredients, 75 years of experience and technical precision to help you create beautiful spaces that stay beautiful. Even in our colour rich paints, less than 8% of the tin is the colour. The other 92% is what creates the quality, depth and extraordinary response to light that transforms your home.
Paint is like coffee. The colour is the froth on the top, but it’s the quality of the rest of the cup that makes it taste good. – Richard Ball, Farrow & Ball Co-founder
We use twelve exclusive pigments, all specifically selected for their colour intensity. We take colour seriously, so naturally, we only accept the very best. By using these same pigments to make every colour in our palette, all our shades combine effortlessly, making it easy for you to put together a cohesive colour scheme.
Deeper, richer colours

Extraordinary response to light
We spend months carefully crafting and testing each of our paint colours to make sure they share our signature extraordinary response to light. This beautiful reaction to changing light, like bringing out different undertones or shifting intensity, is what makes our paint so special.

Treron bedroom makeover @theoldforgecottageThis is the first time I have used this colour having painted with Farrow and Ball paints for years. It’s my new favourite colour having decorated my father in laws spare bedroom and he is over the moon with it. Such a warm cosy green, I also used the eggshell to colour drench the woodwork and radiator all the same colour and the results are amazing.

Great colour, good coverage.Very pleased with the colour which was identical to the swatch and photos on th website. No disappointments. Coverage very good; two coats covered the previous colour (admittedly lighter) with no difficulty. Works well with Lime White

Exactly as I hopedThis colour is exactly what I wanted and looks exactly as I hoped. In some lights it looks green gray, in others more green. It’s a sumptuous, rich but calming colour and we’ve used it to decorate 2 feature walls in the master bedroom. Quick delivery, good coverage and excellent finish. Farrow and Ball and experts in quality paint.

Perfect for rough old wallsI've always loved the look of farrow & ball colours but the cost put me off, I finally decided to go for it and paint my old cottage living room in treron green as my walls are uneven and old, other paints were reacting and looking egg shelly, I can honestly say it was the the best decision I have ever made, no reaction and the paint seems to fill small cracks and imperfections.

Sample pot of TreronTreron Estate Emulsion
I bought a sample pot to try out the colour on a small hall table, it was just the right amount and had super coverage over the original black. I finished off with some wax for a light sheen. I'm going to get some more for the walls now it's a lovely mellow hue

The colour I was searching for!I spent months looking for the right green colour to paint my kitchen cabinets and the moment I saw Treron I knew it was the one! I used the estate eggshell finish and it’s absolutely perfect, so hardwearing and wipeable. My favourite thing about F&B paint is the different tones in the colours, I love how different Treron looks depending on the time of day and light conditions. Every time someone comes over they comment on how lovely the colour is, and the finish is so good that lots of people can’t believe the cabinets are painted. We used Slipper Satin in full gloss on the tiles and it compliments the cabinet colour beautifully. So happy with how everything turned out!

Great kitchen colorOur kitchen reno involves 3 (and possibly 4) F&B colors, and I could not be happier with my choices. The palette is warm, harmonious, and easy to live with. So glad that Stirabout arrived just in time!

Treron Estate EggshellTreron is a staple accent colour in our house. Recently updated the kitchen with panelling painted in Estate Eggshell as didn’t want too much shine but needed it to be practical. Love the results.
