Soft white with a hint of grey
Shadow White takes its name from the soft tone created when whites are used in shaded areas, bringing out the slightest hint of grey. For devotees of lighter neutrals on both walls and woodwork, this versatile and understated colour works brilliantly in any style of home. It has none of the perceived yellow of Slipper Satin and is the perfect contrast to the slightly darker Shaded White.

Beautiful colour, great quality paint
I tried a few testers and settled on this gorgeous Shadow White. I didn’t want too yellow or too green, too brown or too pink..but rather just a soft beige grey with slight green undertones which changes during the day, from a very pale stoney beige to a darker grey with green tone as the sun sets.
The application was sublime, as it’s a great consistency and just glides on. Have used it here in my bedroom, on just the one back wall initially, but will now do all the walls. I shall be using this in other rooms of my cottage too, without a ‘shadow’ of a doubt.

Stunning new colour
I purchased the new F&B colour, Shadow White, on the day of its launch this week as I straight away recognised it as the perfect colour for the walls in my halls and staircase. These were painted in White Tie but that shade is too yellow and cottage'y for the Georgian proportions of the rooms.
Shadow White is truly beautiful; very soft but still elegant and clearly a really versatile shade that can be used in most rooms.
The quality of the paint is excellent as always.
Pictures to follow once I finish the project.
