A warm terracotta red
This light terracotta hue takes its name from the very soil beneath our feet. Red Earth is a rich blend of red and yellow pigments which create a warm earthy feel in homes both old and new. Often best used in smaller spaces, this warm colour responds extraordinarily to the changes of light throughout the day, becoming deeper and cosier as the sun drops.

Colour was just right!
I had many attempts at getting the right colour for a south facing living room, all of which looked lovely on the tin but washed out in natural daylight, then I took the plunge for this strong colour, Red Earth. After reading some reviews, i was a but wary as i didn't want a pinkish finish, and this colour didn't disappoint. It painted up as a strong, deep terracotta colour in my south facing room. It also matched perfectly with Elephants Breath and Skimming Stone, so I now have all three colours in my room and it feels warm and cosy.
I think it's definitely worth trying more vivid colours for south facing rooms, it makes such a difference to the end result

Red Earth
Used lockdown as an opportunity to decorate our new home red earth was my favourite colour! It has created warmth and depth in the kitchen. Initially used estate emulsion for first coat, modern emulsion used for second coat which is much better suited. Left over paint used for garden chairs. Colour, quality and finish are super!
