A dusty blush pink
This dusty pink started out as a delicate wallpaper background which was often requested as a paint colour. Pink Ground, with its large dose of yellow pigment, now creates the softest blush of colour for a warm and soothing finish that doesn’t feel sugary. Rather than contrasting with a bright white, try pairing with the warmer shade of Great White on the woodwork for a unique look in your home.

We’re dedicated to perfecting the art of paint. At our home in Dorset, we combine the finest ingredients, 75 years of experience and technical precision to help you create beautiful spaces that stay beautiful. Even in our colour rich paints, less than 8% of the tin is the colour. The other 92% is what creates the quality, depth and extraordinary response to light that transforms your home.
Paint is like coffee. The colour is the froth on the top, but it’s the quality of the rest of the cup that makes it taste good. – Richard Ball, Farrow & Ball Co-founder
We use twelve exclusive pigments, all specifically selected for their colour intensity. We take colour seriously, so naturally, we only accept the very best. By using these same pigments to make every colour in our palette, all our shades combine effortlessly, making it easy for you to put together a cohesive colour scheme.

Extraordinary response to light
We spend months carefully crafting and testing each of our paint colours to make sure they share our signature extraordinary response to light. This beautiful reaction to changing light, like bringing out different undertones or shifting intensity, is what makes our paint so special.

Just rightI painted my balcony in Pink Ground and it is stunning. The greens and reds of my potted japanese blood grass and japanese maples are stunningly complimentary.

Perfect pinkI’m very happy with this colour for our spare room. It’s quite a dark room with lots of wood as it’s a period house. It really suits without being too pink!

Pink Ground Reception HallI wanted a warm, subtle peachy pink for our reception hall that would work with a light pink velvet chair and a red/blue/green rug. And be neutral enough to also go with a turquoise blue velvet sofa. Not too saccharine, or lilac, not too dark (for the low, beamed ceilings in our old house). Pink Ground is a wonderful colour which glows at certain times of the day. A bit like a pink sky. Our kitchen and smaller hall are the lighter shell pink Tailor Tack, so the flow is good from room to room. I used Tailor Tack on the radiator as the pink ground radiator paint came up slightly more browny. Woodwork is Wimborne White.

A lovely fresh and earthy pink.I've almost finished decorating my living room, it's a north-east facing room so it gets morning sun. I had watched many farrow and ball videos on Instagram trying to get some inspiration and Pink Ground was one that was recommended for morning light. I'm really not a pink person and had to trust the process when it came to doing it, I decided on doing something a little bit different as I didn't think pink walls would be right for me. So I put it on the ceiling, from the picture rail up and I'm so pleased with how it's turned out, it's a really nice colour. Not too pink, it's more a dusky, earthy pink and I love it ❤️
