A very pale taupe
Dimity is named after the lightweight cotton fabric originally used to make ladies’ bustles, but which is now more commonly used for bedding. One of our Warm Neutrals, this pale and subdued taupe is brimming with unmatchable depth, making it perfect for elegant and understated hallways. It can be combined with All White and Pointing to read pinker, or with the darker Oxford Stone on woodwork for a slightly aged look and cosy feel.

Interesting colour…
After having multiple samples on the wall and mulling it over for a week or so I finally set on Dimity for the living room walls and purchased 2 5L tins. After completing the room I decided after a few days I just didn’t like it. It has a beige warm feeling to it in the evening which I loved but in the morning/afternoon sun it had way too much of a baby pink look to it which threw the look of the whole room off. Unfortunately I didn’t notice how intense the pink tone was until it was on all the walls. Expensive mistake to make!
This was also my first time using F&B and I have to say it was an absolute pleasure. I’m converted! Impressed with the colour choice, application and how far the paint goes. Far superior finish to other well known brands!

Dimity exterior masonry paint
Considered various F&B neutrals for the facade of our house before finally deciding on Dimity. We’re so pleased with our decision - it really complements the roof tiles and contrasts nicely with the white details around the windows.
The customer service team were really helpful when we needed to source the paint at short notice.
