A dark grey green
This dark grey green is named after the study-like rooms much favoured in the Victorian period and is unapologetic in its strength. It really comes alive when contrasted with a warm neutral like Off-White or set against the darker Studio Green, but feels more contemporary when used with no contrasts at all.

Perfect colour
We previously had Tunsgate Green in the dining room, but I was never entirely happy with it - it was too pale and had a tendency to look cream in certain lights. I was looking for a different green and tried several test pots of various greens but they were all too bright for a south facing room.
I then tried a test pot of Card Room green, which I originally thought would be too dark - but it is perfect. It goes well with the built-in oaf bookcases and stripped floor.
According to the changing light it the colour alters, but always in a good way. I am extremely happy with the result, and can't recommend test pots too much.

Took a while to choose between the greens finally went for card room green. Delivery was very quick came well packaged did leak a bit around the top but nothing too major. Nice green. Colours are more true on a printed colour chart than online. This is a deep green, strong colour not as subtle as I thought but it worked out anyway and I love it. Warm and cosy feel, looks better later in the day / evening with lamps on etc. Great quality it's a dream to paint with great rich colour and perfect consistency of thickness. 2 coats ontop of white walls did the job. Estate emulsion perfect for imperfect walls.
