Traditional Neutrals
An inimitable group of neutrals with its roots firmly in the past

Painted in Slipper Satin No.2004, Savage Ground No.213 | Estate Emulsion; Off-White No.3 | Estate Eggshell
The Traditional Neutrals
Our Traditional Neutrals were the first whites created by Farrow & Ball, and continue to be firm favourites. Their inherent familiarity means they can look at home anywhere, and their underlying gray and green tones add a lived-in softness to contemporary spaces and period homes alike.
Layer gradually lighter tones from your floorboards right up onto the ceiling for a seamlessly sophisticated and restful space.
All four Traditional Neutrals can be used in one room for a scheme that feels at once relaxed and sophisticated. For an effortless finish, try Off-White on walls, Old White on woodwork, Lime White on coving or crown moulding, and Slipper Satin on the ceiling.
