Our Exclusive Preview Event

Painted in Paean Black No.294

Back in June, designers and members of the press had a surprise sneak peek of our new colours at the historic Bronson House in Hudson, NY. Rather than fully painted rooms, our guests were treated to the unexpected: each of our new colours revealed in a series of beautifully realized vignettes, from a beach scene in miniature for Jitney to a flower-strewn floor and intricate alcoves for Rangwali.

The group was joined by our Head of Creative, Charlotte Cosby, and Historic Hudson Director Alan Neumann, who told the stories behind the new colours and explained the architectural context of the stunning historic location. Our tour of the Bronson house was followed by a family style dinner at Rivertown Lodge.

The second day began with visits to real spaces brought to life with Farrow & Ball – light, bright home goods store Hawkins NY and a private home decked out in a stylish palette of All White and Pitch Black. Finally, we headed out of the city for a tour and group lunch at family farm Made in Ghent, before parting ways.
