Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful rich colour As a Farrow and Ball estate emulsion devotee I have one again had the price of the paint justified by the result. The paint goes on so beautifully, is virtually odourless and washes off brushes and hands so easily. Most importantly, the colour always changes with the light giving a different tone to each part of the day. Yellow ground is a rich and vibrant yellow. Such depth of colour that glows in the sun and mellows to be warm and calm in shade. Looks beautiful on the ceiling as well in between dark wood beams, wrapping this part of the room in positive, feel good, energy! I've paired it with House White below the dado rail and in the remaining lower section of the room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True creamy yellow Depending on the light, Yellow Ground varied from yellow to a bright creamy colour. In contrast, Sudbury Yellow seemed to range from yellow to dull gold, whilst Babouche and Citron in some lights had hints of green, and at night Dorset Cream could seem surprisingly white. At the moment we are thinking of using Yellow Ground for the new kitchen cupboards, with the archive colour Fowler Pink for the kitchen walls to tie in with the new terracotta floor tiles. NB this was only a sample pot and the project hasn't yet begun.
