A cheerful yellow
Babouche takes its name from the distinctive colour of the leather slippers worn in Morocco. It has a cheerful brightness that will intensify when used in large areas, but it is always dignified and never garish. Babouche can be paired with Railings for a very modern but sumptuous effect.

Wonderful colour
I bought a tester pot of this for my hallway, which is north facing to cheer it up after being inspired by kit kempson to add a pop of yellow to a smaller space, it’s worked brilliantly. In the morning the depth of pigment in the paint gives a warm glow like sunlight is creeping on to it & in the evening even under electric light is quite lovely. It makes me smile every day I walk down the stairs. Incidentally it is the same shade of yellow in my bark cloth curtains which was an extra bonus. would definitely recommend this colour & also the coverage is very good. Looking forward to completing my hall with more accessories & a new radiator.

Bedroom makeover
I chose babouche with some trepidation but decided to be brace an go for it. I wasn't looking for a bright sunshiney yellow - more verging on a mustard but with a wow factor. The depth of colour is beautiful- very classy (I think anyway) - it's cheerful during the day but also evokes a warm and inviting atmosphere to the bedroom in the evening. My bedroom is now my favourite room in the house!
